Pre-conference, workshop and business historians conference

Today I went to a pre-conference at Glasgow university. I have always thought tha Glasgow uni was a really nice place, but apparently the hospital area wasn't. And yes, in case you wonder, the pre-conference was held in the middle of a hospital area! The pre-conference was really interesting, I learned a lot and I met some nice people and had a nice lunch. We even had academic speed-dating ^^

Right now I am in Newcastle. Im going to Toney Slaven Workshop for business historians tomorrow, where I will present a draft on an article based on my master thesis, and also a outline of my Phd. Hopefully will it be useful, but I am getting really nervous! I'm the second to present, which I think is perfect, cause I get to enjoy the rest of the workshop! Then on Friday and Saturday there is a conference for business historians here, then I am of to York and Liverpool for vacation with my sisters!
