For some weird reason Strathclyde have vacation two weeks before the Easter vacation starts. I have been spending the vacation so far with having visits from Norway, and traveling. And obvious with studying, as there is no such ting as vacation when you are a Phd student! On friday I went out with the people from my study hall and tried something as interesting as Zebra, Kangaroo and crocodile. It was a buffet where you could pick type of meat, noodles or rice and vegetables and sauce and the chef would cook it for you. It was a fun experience, but not the best meat I ever had!
On Saturday, after saying goodbye to Henriette, I went to Newcastle to watch Newcastle play against Manchester United! Sadly, Newcastle lost 4-0, but it was still fun!! After trying out some of Newcastle's bars, a typical English pie and a night without sleep (Hostel with snoring guy!) I went to Berwick to look at the old city wall and to enjoy the beaches. Of cause it was raining so we didnt go swimming, but the city (or town) was super nice. I think I liked it more than Linlithgow, where I went with Henriette
